Rural Initiatives

Technet remains committed to the deployment and use of technology and technology based applications in rural New Mexico as a means to help build a strong economic base for the state. Technet is working with many different groups to introduce and deploy technology in rural New Mexico.

Technet is a strong partner and participates in the New Mexico Telehealth Alliance. The Alliance is a 501(c)3 made up of several disparate health-related organizations with the common goal of implementing telehealth statewide. The Alliance works to spread telehealth to rural and underserved areas of New Mexico through partnerships, government and foundation grants, and other funding sources.
