Special Programs

New Mexico Technet always seeks opportunities to become involved in special programs that will lead to the enhancement, development, and implementation of programs that benefit New Mexico.

Technet's primary focus is in providing services that deliver quality health care to rural and underserved areas of New Mexico through technology. Such programs encourage trained healthcare professionals to work in rural communities by providing them with access to specialists that can provide consultation, patient encounters, further training, and collaborative treatment of patients.

Many of these projects are in partnership with other non-profit organizations, state and federal government agencies, and businesses statewide.

New Mexico Technet is a strong partner with the New Mexico Telehealth Alliance – A 501(c)3 made up of several disparate health-related organizations with the common goal of implementing telehealth statewide.
