You’re invited to attend the WIRED, Career Academy Kick-Off dinner and meeting, Feb 10, 5:30P to 7:30P, in the Rotunda room at 801 University Blvd (SW corner of University at Basehart). Dinner provided.
Come, hear and participate, as the WIRED high schools describe their plans to produce more and better students (workforce) for your company. Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) will describe their plans for updating and re-organizing your Applied Technology Programs--(Photonics, Electronics, and MEMS). WIRED High Schools are: Belen, Bernalillo, Manzano (APS), Rio Rancho, Socorro, and West Mesa (APS).
The WIRED High Schools and CNM’s Applied Technology Programs are focused on enhancing/establishing programs that produce a quality workforce for the following industries: Advanced Manufacturing, Aviation, Green Building Construction, Microelectronics, Optics, and Renewable Energy.
At dinner, we will ask you to sit with the School that interests you most and continue discussing their program. If you are interested in more than one school program then feel free to bring a colleague, so your company can maximize its participation. Also, feel free to forward this invitation to others that have a direct interest in workforce development in one or more WIRED industries.
Your participation and support is essential so a quality tech workforce is available as your company grows.
Please confirm your attendance by Feb 5 to ed@nmoptics.org or call 505-280-5280.
